Examined Chelonia mydas, Eretmochelys imbricata and Caretta caretta. Bacterial diseases of oceanarium-reared turtles were the same as those of farmed turtles with the exception of turberculosis and adenitis (salt-secreting gland infection), which were not diagnosed.
