摘要
Protonation of an {Mn(IV)(mu(2)-O)}2 core to form {(Mn(IV)2(mu(2)-O)(mu(2)-OH)} leads to perturbations of the physical properties of this unit including an increase in metal-metal separation (ca. 0.1 angstrom) and loss of catalase reactivity.
