摘要
The occurrence of adsorption of n-alkanes on the surface of polar stationary phases is demonstrated. The Kováts retention index in such instances is strongly dependent on the stationary phase film thickness. When using polar homologues as standards on a cyanosilicone-coated column, the retention index was only weakly dependent on film thickness. © 1990.
