摘要
The anodic oxidation of nickel is studied employing several methods, namely, voltammetry, chronopotentiometry, ESCA and X-ray diffraction. The results indicate that two reactions are involved in the anodic process: one is Ni + O2− = NiO + 2e−; the other reaction is considered to be the formation of unstable higher nickel oxide, and perhaps Ni(II) = Ni(III) + e−. The stability of this kind of higher nickel oxide depends, to a great extent, on the ambient partial pressure of oxygen. © 1990, Elsevier Sequoia S.A.. All rights reserved.
