摘要：

When B. lapidarius workers built egg cells and laid eggs, their queen ate the eggs and appropriated the egg cells for her own eggs, whereupon the workers tried to eat her eggs. There was a positive general correlation between the tendency of workers to behave aggressively, to demolish and build cells, to lay and eat eggs, and the degree of their ovary development.
