A SEM/EDX STUDY OF THE COBALT DISTRIBUTION IN COAPO-TYPE MATERIALS

摘要
Several CoAPO-type materials were obtained by hydrothermal crystallization of gels containing triethylamine as template and variable amounts of cobalt. The nature and crystal morphology of the several crystalline phases were found to depend on the cobalt content of the gel and the crystallization time. AFl and CHA topologies and unidentified phases were obtained. Microprobe analysis coupled with SEM showed a heterogeneous distribution of cobalt in the crystallites corresponding to the different crystalline phases. The cobalt content in AFl was found to be higher than previously reported in the literature; its incorporation probably took place in an early stage of the crystallization process.
