摘要
The translational diffusion constant D for a random coil (or thread) of length L, wire diameter d, and end-to-end distance R (rms) is given by D = (kT/3πβ0L) [log(A/d)+2(8/3π)1/2 (L/A)1/2-1.0], where A = R2/L. The diffusion constant for a coil subject to internal repulsive forces has also been calculated from its geometry.
