摘要
Finger ridge counts of three AmerIndian populations of the Brazilian Amazonia (SuruíPaitér, KayapóXikrín and SuruíMudjetíre) were subjected to principal component analysis in order to verify the concept of developmental field (field theory). For both sexes, a clear tripartite divisioning (digit I, digits II-III, and digits IV-V) was obtained, corroborating results previously published for other populations. © 1990 Informa UK Ltd All rights reserved: reproduction in whole or part not permitted.
