The low temperature specific heat has been measured for Y(Co(1-x)Al(x))2 and Lu(Co(1-x)Al(x))2 between 1.4 and 6.5 K. The electronic specific heat coefficient, gamma, is enhanced by spin fluctuations in Y(Co(1-x)Al(x))2, while it is suddenly reduced by the onset of strong ferromagnetism in Lu(Co(1-x)Al(x))2.
