EFFECT OF VIBRATIONAL-EXCITATION ON ELECTRON-TRANSPORT IN GASES

摘要
The thermal electron mobility was found to increase with increasing temperature T for CH4 and to decrease with T for C2F6. These findings can be understood on the basis of the momentum transfer cross section sigma-m(epsilon) of the two molecules and the effect of vibrational excitation on electron transport.
