摘要
An NQR Zeeman study of a single crystal of gallium trichloride is made. The electric-field-gradient asymmetry parameters and major field-gradient directions for all atoms in the dimer molecule are obtained. The asymmetry parameters for the gallium and the bridge chlorines are quite large, being 0.867 and 0.473, respectively. An analysis of the data, based on the theory of Casabella, suggests the possibility of bent bonds.
