摘要
The saturation of linear or nonlinearly (explosively) unstable high-frequency, electrostatic flute modes in a mirror-confined plasma is discussed. The mechanism proposed is the perturbation of particle orbits by the wave electric fields. © 1969 The American Physical Society.
