摘要
The IR attenuated total reflectance spectrophotometric technique has been employed to demonstrate the surface reversion of methylprednisolone Polymorph II to Polymorph I in the presence of water. The process occurs rapidly enough (minutes) to account for the slower than expected dissolution rates of nondisintegrating pellets of Form II in water. The unusual effects of agitation upon the dissolution rate of Form II pellets are also thus explained. Copyright © 1969 Wiley‐Liss, Inc., A Wiley Company
