摘要
The following [1-14C]labelled substrates were not converted to abscisic acid by Cercospora rosicola resuspensions: trans-α-dihydroionylideneethanol and its pyrophosphate, cis-α-dihydroionylideneethanol and its pyrophosphate, trans-γ-dihydroionylideneethanol and its pyrophosphate, (E,E,E)-dehydrofarnesol, and (E,E,Z)-dehydrofarnesol. It was not possible to test the conversion of (E,E,E)-dehydrofarnesyl pyrophosphate to abscisic acid because of the instability of this substrate. The results have further narrowed the range of possible pathways between farnesyl pyrophosphate and abscisic acid, but they do not permit assignment of an unequivocal sequence of reactions. © 1990.
