摘要：

Various amounts of inhibitor have been deposited on the carbon using the impregnation technique. For small inhibitor contents, the decrease in oxidation rate is essentially due to blockage of active sites. By increasing the amount of boron oxide, a mobile diffusion barrier for oxygen is formed. This layer contributes to the inhibition effect.
