ROBUST H-INFINITY CONTROL SYNTHESIS METHOD AND ITS APPLICATION TO BENCHMARK PROBLEMS

摘要
This paper presents a robust H(infinity) control synthesis method for structured parameter uncertainty. The robust H(infinity) control design methodology is also incorporated with the so-called internal model principle for persistent-disturbance rejection. A noncollocated control problem of flexible space structures subject to parameter variations is used to illustrate the design methodology. It is shown that the proposed design method invariably makes use of nonminimum-phase compensation and thal it achieves the desired asymptotic disturbance rejection by having a disturbance rejection "dipole."
