MAGNETORESISTIVITY IN SUPERCONDUCTING STATE OF SINGLE CRYSTALLINE BI2SR2CACU2O8+DELTA

摘要
Unusual resistivity behavior of single-crystalline Bi2Sr2CaCu208+δ in magnetic fields up to 6T is reported with special emphasis on the role of superconducting fluctuation effects that are connected with the short coherence length in this highly two-dimensional electronic system. The field-induced resistivity in the superconducting state depends only on the relative orientation of the applied field with respect to the crystallographic axes, and is not related to Lorentz forces which are in general considered to be the main cause of the driving force for flux motion. © 1990, Elsevier Science Publishers B.V.
