THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF BINARY LITHIUM-ZINC SYSTEM

摘要
Activities of Li in molten alloys were measured in EMF studies by means of cells of the following scheme: Li(l)/LiCl-LiF(eut)/Li-Zn(l) at temperatures 773 to 850K and at the concentrations of Li in molar fractions, 0.025 to 0.880. Partial excess Gibbs energies of Li from this study and previously published enthalpies of mixing from calorimetric studies were combined to obtain by analytical solution of Gibbs-Duhem equation polynomials describing partial and integral thermodynamic functions of liquid Li-Zn alloys.
