摘要
Metallic aluminium and metallic titanium were anodically dissolved in a fluid, purely organic electrolyte. The highly viscous solution obtained was used for the coating of graphite fibres. Drying and subsequent calcining of these coatings in an atmosphere of ammonia or inert gas led to the formation of thin metal nitride coatings. The fibre coated with aluminium nitride exhibited a notably increased oxidation resistance at high temperatures.
