摘要
Although alcohol-related disorders affect millions of American women, most of our knowledge about these disorders has been derived from studies of men. This article reviews some important gender differences relevant to clinical practice, including differences in epidemiology, physiological factors, genetics, psychological and sociocultural factors, clinical characteristics, psychiatric comorbidity, and treatment considerations.
