摘要
Bit error ratio measurements on a new optical AND gate using four-wave mixing in a semiconductor laser amplifier and operating on degenerate wavelength input signals are presented. Operation on two 10Gbit/s data streams with BER < 10(-10) shows the potential for using the device in high bit rate optical networks.
