摘要：

Larval saliva and larval homogenate possess promounced activity of chymotrypsin and carboxypeptidase A and B, whereas no such activity was detected in the digestive fluids and homogenates of the adults. These results confirm the hypothesis that only the larvae are capable of protein digestion. Further work is now in progress to determine the activities of other hornet enzymes. © 1968.
