摘要
The relative quantum yields of fluorescence, ϕf, were calculated for different concentrations of all-trans-retinal. The ϕf were found to vary as a function of exciting wavelength. This effect was accounted for by photochemistry in competition with internal conversion in the vibrational levels of the first excited singlet state. © 1968, American Chemical Society.
