Through Zn doping the AF Neel temperature, T-N, is lowered of the same quantity for different oxygen contents, contrary to previous NMR measurements. In spite of this reduction of T-N, characteristic properties of YBa2Cu3O6+x in its AF state remain unchanged. At x=0.39, magnetic Bragg peaks exhibit an unusal temperature dependence. Our investigations suggest that the effect of dilution due to Zn doping in YBCO is similar to that of usual quasi 2D Heisenberg magnets. Likewise in the oxygen range x=0.2-0.4, hole effects simply add to the effect of dilution as previously observed in La2Cu1-yZnyO4+x.
