摘要
Use of the magnitude of spin-spin coupling to infer the geometry of octahedral diakyltin dichloride complexes with 1,8-naphthyridine(1), pyridine N-oxide (2) and dimethyl sulfoxide (3) is well documented. The coupling constants observed for similar complexes wherein 4-picoline is the ligand suggest a trans alkyl configuration. Similarity of the infrared spectra with analogous 1,10-phenanthroline and 2,2′-bipyridine complexes support a cis arrangement for both the 4-picoline and chlorine groups. (4,5). © 1969.
