摘要
Elephantisis is the enormous enlargement of various parts of the body. While this term usually refers to grotesque fibrosis of the legs, it can also describe similar devastating changes of the arm, chest, and even genitalia. Massive swelling, especially of the legs, c uses deformity and ultimately difficulty in normal movement and function. This review focuses mainly on the most common types of elephantiasis, their process of development, and the appropriate management. Copyright © 1992, Wiley Blackwell. All rights reserved
