摘要：

A total of 2622 soil samples collected throughout the British Isles was examined for nematodes belonging to the family Criconematidae. Twenty-eight species were found representing 9 genera, 22 spp. being reported for the 1st time [Nothorcriconema annuliferum, N. sphagni, N. demani, N. princpes, N. longulum, N. mutabile, Macroposthonia xenoplax, M. solivaga, M. pseudosolibaga, M. raskiensis, M. axesta, M. sphaerocephala, M. vadensis, M. curvata, Criconemoides amorphus, Crossonema menzeli, C. cobbi, Xenocriconemella macrodora, Criconemella parva, Hemicriconemoides pseudobrachyurus, Hemicycliophora triangulum, H. thienemanni]. Only 1 sp. previously reported was not found. An analysis of the relationship between 11 of the most common species and biotic and abiotic factors showed vegetation to be of paramount importance.
