摘要
The analysis of gasdynamic processes associated with explosion phenomena has to deal, on one hand, with complex non-steady flow fields that include a multitude of wave interaction events and, on the other, it must take proper account of the thermodynamic properties of the substance which is undergoing at the same time fast chemical reactions. Although, in principle, one may conceive of a computational technique that would take both these aspects computers, still economically unfeasible. The present paper demonstrates how computations of such problems can be carried out with a maximum of economy and a minimum loss in accuracy. This is achieved by the introduction of a set of parameters which are determined a priori from the thermodynamic analysis of the substance over an appropriate range of operating conditions for subsequent use in the analysis of the gasdynamic processes. © 1969.
