摘要
Fusible and soluble polyfuran derivatives such as poly(3-alkylfuran) were prepared. The melting point decreases with increasing alkyl chain length. The band gap of poly(3-alkylfuran) is much smaller than that of nonsubstituted polyfuran. A drastic absorption spectrum change upon doping and solvatochromism has been observed. © 1990 IOP Publishing Ltd.
