摘要
Ultrasound has been found to reduce permanently the relative molar mass (RMM) of native dextran. For a given irradiation time, the decrease in RMM has been found to be greatest at the highest applied sonic power, lowest reaction temperature and lowest concentration. The heterogeneity index, M(W)/M(n), approaches unity as the irradiation time is increased.
