摘要
1. 1. The incorporation of atmospheric 14CO2 into the ethanol soluble metabolites of the tissues of the mussel, Mytilus edulis, exposed to the atmosphere, was measured monthly between July 1976 and June 1977. 2. 2. The total incorporation of 14CO2 was found to be greater in the summer than in the winter and these seasonal effects were not temperature-dependent. 3. 3. The incorporation of 14CO2 into the individual metabolites is discussed in relation to possible seasonal variations in the operation of the anaerobic succinate pathway and seasonal variations of tissue glycogen concentrations. © 1979.
