POLARIZATION OF ELECTRONS BY TUNNELING THROUGH A SPIN-DEPENDENT SURFACE-POTENTIAL

摘要
A model calculation is discussed which demonstrates that the spin-dependence of the surface potential can be an important factor in determining the field-emitted electron spin polarization (FEESP) from ferromagnetic metals. The significance of this model calculation for the interpretation of FEESP from Ni and Fe is discussed. © 1979.
