摘要
A modified dye dilution technique for cardiac output estimation in very small subjects is presented. Instead of the conventional constant blood withdrawal technique followed by reinfusion after the inscription of the dye curve, a Holter pump withdraws arterial blood into the cuvette and simultaneously reinfuses it back into the subject's circulation. The results are highly reproducible and compare well with those obtained by the conventional method or by an electromagnetic flowmeter in bigger puppies. © 1969.
