摘要
It is demonstrated that the cross sections for inelastic scattering of electrons at high energies, when calculated in perturbation theory for various quark models, do not display the experimentally observed behavior. Furthermore, it is shown that the Callan-Gross sum rules, which should hold in quark models, are not satisfied. The reason for this is the breakdown of the Bjorken-Johnson-Low theorem on the high-energy behavior of T products. © 1969 The American Physical Society.
