摘要
A 3.89mg single crystal of fullerene C-60 was grown by sublimation and its thermodynamic properties were determined through DSC measurements. The transition temperature and enthalpy are the highest ones that were ever measured (T-tr = (261.4+/-0.5)K and Delta(tr)H = (9.0+/-0.5)kJmol(-1), respectively) and are thought to be near-standard ones. However, it is shown that mechanical grinding smears out the DSC transition peak. Constraints which develop along free (111) surfaces are assumed to be responsible for this phenomenon.
