THE T-G REGULATION EFFECT IN HYDROPHILIC POLYMERS

摘要
In hydrophilic polymers, water partially crystallizes below 0 degrees C only if its concentration is greater than a critical value, C*. When crystallization occurs, the glass transition, T-g, of the polymer solvent matrix remains constant. This T-g regulation effect and the C* value is explained.
