摘要：

A system allowing accurate, simultaneous measurement of meal-related parameters such as meal size, meal duration and intermeal intervals for several animals is described. These measurements are made automatically, thereby reducing experimenter-animal interactions. In addition, a method for the automated definition and analysis of meal-related parameters is presented. Such a method provides a solution to the data reduction problem occurring in meal patterning research. © 1979.
