SENSITIZED LUMINESCENCE OF OXYGEN IN SOLUTIONS

摘要
The quenching of the singlet oxygen luminescence has been studied in some solvents at pulse excitation to an absorption band of sensitizer. The lifetimes of O2('Δg) are determined in CHCl3 (5×10-4s) and CCl4 (3×10-2). The interaction of the excited molecules results in the quenching of their luminescence. The mechanism of this process is discussed. © 1979.
