摘要
An experiment is described conducted on approximately 1000 pullets over a period of 10 months. The three treatments used were cycles of 24, 26 and 28 h composed of 171/2 light : 61/2 dark, 171/2 light : 81/2 dark and 171/2 light : 101/2 dark. Egg production varied significantly (P < 0.01) among the treatments, the mean rates of lay, expressed as eggs per 100 birds per 24 h, being 76.2, 77.2 and 74.9 for the 24-, 26- and 28-h cycles respectively. The relative effects of the treatments were found to remain unaltered throughout the experiment. © 1969, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. All rights reserved.
