Experumental determination of the pyrene crystal excimer interaction potential

摘要
From observations and analysis of the pyrene crystal excimer fluorescence spectra from 4 degrees K to 353 degrees K, the excimer interaction potential V-r = 51 330- (1.136 x 10(6))/r(3) (cm(-1)) has been determined as a function of the intermolecular separation r (angstrom). V-r is consistent with an exciton resonance state originating from the molecular B-1(a) state.
