摘要：

Titanium boronitride coatings produced by chemical vapour deposition were studied. The microhardness increased linearly with the atomic ratio B (B + N) but cubic boronitride coatings do not have a better oxidation resistance than a nitride coating. In the machining of steel the Ti(B,N) coating has a much better resistance to cratering and flank wear than the TiN coating. © 1979.
