摘要
A patient with mycosis fungoides developed onycholysis of all finger nails during photo‐chemotherapy (PUVA). After shielding of the nails during UVA exposure normal regrowth was observed. Photo‐onycholysis has been recognized for many years as a possible sequel to cutaneous photosensitization complicating therapy with demethylchlortetracycline (Orentreich, Harber & Tromovitch, 1961; Samman, 1965) and also tetracycline hydrochloride and doxycycline (Frank, Cohen & Minkin, 1971). Despite the recent intense interest in the use of psoralens and UVA (PUVA) in the management of psoriasis and mycosis fungoides there are no recent reports of onycholysis complicating PUVA therapy. This report, therefore, records onycholysis occurring during the treatment of a patient with mycosis fungoides with PUVA. Copyright © 1979, Wiley Blackwell. All rights reserved
