摘要
In the present medical environment, cost-effective anesthetic choices are a top priority. Regional anesthesia is a cost-effective choice for ambulatory surgery provided it is appropriate for the procedure, anesthesiologist, surgeon, patient, and facility-and the regional technique is carefully selected. Specific techniques are discussed with respect to their practical and cost-effective aspects. A model for analysis of costs of anesthesia for ambulatory surgery is proposed. © 1995.
