Glory structure in the anisotropy of the total collision cross section

摘要
Measurements of glory structure in the orientational anisotropy of the total collision cross section are reported. Using a beam of NO molecules in the (2)Pi(3/2)-state the systems NO-Ar, Kr and Xe were investigated at relative velocities between 450 and 700 m/sec. corresponding to approximately one half of a glory wavelength for all systems. Values of the anisotropy parameters q(2,6) and q(2,12)/q(2,6) are presented.
