OPTICAL ERRORS ENCOUNTERED IN USING HOLOGRAPHIC-INTERFEROMETRY TO OBSERVE LIQUID BOUNDARY-LAYERS IN ELECTROCHEMICAL-CELLS

摘要
A method of numerical integration is presented which makes it possible to predict the form of interference fringes observed when holographic interferometry is used to study boundary layers. Results of calculations for diffusional boundary layers formed under conditions of fully developed laminar flow are discussed. It is shown that use of holographic interferometry in the place of more traditional methods eliminates one type of error induced by light-deflection effects. © 1979.
