摘要
The effects of linear interface kinetics and of square law interface kinetics on the growth of dendrites are investigated theoretically. From interface stability considerations, a simple relationship is discussed which allow the dendrite tip to grow in a stable, steady state fashion. It is found that the slope of the dimensionless velocity versus dimensionless undercooling plot changes when linear kinetics become important, whereas the square law kinetics effect simply displaces the curve to the right without any change in slope at any given velocity. © 1979.
