ANALYTIC FINAL-STATE CORRECTIONS TO E(+)E(-)-]F(F)OVER-BAR WITH REALISTIC CUTS

Full O(alpha) final state QED corrections (including hard photon bremsstrahlung) to s-channel e+e- --> ffBAR annihilation with realistic kinematical cuts are computed. Analytic results taking into account cuts on the acollinearity angle. and on the energy of the outgoing fermions in the integrations over the three particle phase space are derived both for the differential and the total cross section. The difficulties for a completely analytical procedure with a cut on both the scattering angles are also shortly discussed. The numerical relevance of the obtained results is shown in the case of muon pair production at LEP 1 energies.
