摘要：

This paper discusses the procedure which extends the usefulness of group analysis (i. e. , the second level of production flow analysis) in an environment where the data from production route sheets impedes the search of part families and groups of machines by the original methods. The value of the new procedure is verified by the presented case study. The elements of the extensions of group analysis are added to the original group analysis scheme. The connection to classification and coding and to computer aided process planning is investigated and shown within the same scheme.
