摘要
A summary is given of the optical properties of the many materials available for the fabrication of interference filters together with the reasons for their use. It is shown that definite trends exist among these materials from which it is possible to deduce that chalcogenide glasses would offer a solution to the serious problems which arise when the design wavelength of the filters moves into the 8-20 μm region. © 1968.
