摘要：

A set of requirements is derived for spurious metallic and longitudinal signals generated by voiceband terminals which will assure that those signals will not interfere with other systems and services using the same multipair cable. These requirements are necessary because of the crosstalk coupling which exists between the pairs of a cable. The requirements were derived from cable crosstalk measurements and the susceptibilities to interference of voice services, program services, single channel carrier systems, and multichannel carrier systems. © 1979 The Bell System Technical Journal
